As the cost of living in our community rises, we are seeing a high demand for pet food assistance in our community. Through our Community Outreach program, The Brant County SPCA is proud to support Food Pantries throughout The City of Brantford and beyond.
In 2022, our team was able to distribute 31,859 pet meals within our community, a number that has already been surpassed in 2023.
To keep up with the demand, we look to our incredible community for donations of dry dog and dry cat food to keep our shelves stocked! Are you looking to make an impact? Take a look at how you can support our Food Pantry program:
1) Host a Pet Food Drive at your workplace!
Set some dates and spread the word! Pet Food Drives are a great way for your company or organization to give back. Reach out to jrienties@brantcountyspca.com to let us know when you’re hosting your drive and we’ll send you some posters to help you make a big impact!
2) Donate Pet Food or Shop our Amazon Wish List!
You can purchase dry dog or dry cat food through locals stores or on our Amazon Wish List to have it sent directly to our shelter! We request that if you are dropping of a large amount of donations, kindly call ahead of your visit at 519-756-6620 so we know to expect you. Items can be dropped off at the shelter Tuesday to Saturday 10:00am-5:00pm. at 539 Mohawk St.
3) Make a gift and let us do the shopping!
