When we met Kya, our Animal Care Manager described her as the “most scared puppy” she had ever seen. She had wounds on her head that suggested she had been attacked by another animal, and from what we could tell, she had never trusted a person in her young life.
We knew being in the shelter would only hinder her progress, so we contacted Kelly & Jay, some of our incredible fosters, to see if they could take Kya in. “Kya was very afraid of everything. She practically hid under the bed for 2 weeks & watched us from a distance”.
