Doug is reunited with Cheeco, Shyanne and Buddy When you meet Doug, you can see how much he loves his animals. It’s written all over his face. Doug’s dogs are his best friends – and they show their love for him with their constant tail-wagging and cuddles. Doug is one of our Pets for Life clients. He has three long-haired Chihuahuas; Shyanne and Cheeco are parents to Buddy. Through our Pets for Life program at Winston Court, an affordable housing complex in Brantford, our Wellness Clinic team was able to assess Doug’s dogs, and give them the care they needed. Billy needs your help!

Nobody wants to get that call. I had seen one of our foster pups, Willow, earlier in the day with our Vet. She had a funny tummy and was given medication but didn’t seem very sick. Then, later that night I started to get phone calls from other foster volunteers. A week earlier we had placed 12 mastiff mix puppies into foster homes. Their mama had an unexpected litter of 12 puppies and the owner had asked us for help in finding homes for her puppies.
