It is with heavy hearts that we share some difficult news. Earlier this afternoon, Winnie lost her brave battle against the Parvo virus. She fought valiantly until the very end. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who donated to help cover the cost of her medical care. Winnie received exceptional treatment from dedicated vets and Brant County SPCA staff, who ensured she was surrounded by love throughout her battle. Your support makes it possible to take care of animals that need emergency medical care – and we are so grateful. Recently, the Brant County SPCA took in a cat not knowing what the outcome was going to be. Cricket was brought to us after falling out of a 4th floor window; he had severely injured his back legs and was in a lot of pain. After this tragic accident, the owners simply weren’t able to provide the level of care Cricket needed due to the severity of the injuries.
