It’s National Volunteer Week in Canada and we would like to recognize the many dedicated volunteers who make our life-saving work possible.

Mike McGregor, holding his own cat Stanley, joined us as Treasurer of our Board of Directors in September 2014. Mike not only helps us balance our budget, he also brings a strong empathy for animals and a real compassion for people to the table.

Mike became involved with our organization since the SPCA is his own family’s charity of choice. As the Building Committee chairperson, he is committed to making the vision of a new Animal Centre a reality; one which will better serve the animals, staff, volunteers and our community through new programs and leadership opportunities.

Thank you to Mike and fellow Board Members Tiffany Carver, Lana Lang, Tom Marlor, Robin McNaughton, Ammie Poag, Tanya Stephens and Kari Wilson for volunteering your time, resources and expertise to the efforts of the Brant County SPCA. We truly appreciate all that you do!
