Brant County SPCA - "Friends for Life" Walkathon
Sunday May 26th
Mohawk Park, Brantford
Registration begins at 9am Walk begins at 10am
Remember you don't have to have a dog to participate.
It's all about collecting pledges to help raise
funds for animals in need, taking a stroll around
Mohawk Park and most of all having fun.
Starting off the walk will be
Brantford's own David McKee, the Town Crier. Hopefully
his Brant County SPCA dog Beauregard will be able
to tag along too! Rick and Josie Mannen will be
leading our walk with their recently adopted dog,
Spirit. The Brant County SPCA adoption dogs will
be joining in on the fun. You never know, you
might just find a new addition to your family!!
We will be providing refreshments and a BBQ lunch
after the walk.
You can show off your pet in our "Best Dressed"
and "Best Trick" contests. Try your luck at our
famous Waggin Wheel! Check out the many vendors
in attendance including: All Wildlife Removal
Inc, Dino's Therapy Dog Centre, Brantford/Ancaster
Wee Piggies and Paws and Silvermoon Studio. WAIT!
There will be entertainment as well: Tawnya Casey
from k9case will be bringing some of her canine
friends to demonstrate dog agility and following
it up with a fun game of dog soccer! Sounds like
there is something for everyone!!!
